Abdulmutalib Adam Bokhari

Abdulmutalib Bokhari is the Manager of the UTMPS Doha office, with over 25 years of experience in intellectual property administration and portfolio management in Qatar.
He has been with United Trademark & Patent Services since 1998, playing a key role in establishing and managing trademark and IP operations in the jurisdiction.

He oversees a broad range of IP filing, prosecution, and maintenance matters, including trademarks, patents, designs, and copyright, with particular strength in portfolio management, renewals, and compliance with local regulatory requirements. Abdulmutalib works closely with clients and regional colleagues to ensure the efficient registration, maintenance, and protection of IP rights in Qatar.

In addition to prosecution work, he supports IP enforcement activities, including anti-counterfeiting initiatives, infringement actions, and opposition and cancellation proceedings, coordinating with local authorities and legal teams as required. His long-standing familiarity with Qatar’s IP framework enables him to navigate procedural and administrative requirements with precision and reliability.

Abdulmutalib brings a strong understanding of commercial and regulatory environments, supported by earlier experience in the investment and financial sectors, including roles with Sudan Export Bank and in corporate accounting. This background enhances his practical, detail-oriented approach to IP portfolio management and client service.
