Abeer Azzam

Abeer Azzam is the Head of the Trademarks Department in UTMPS’s Cairo office. With more than 15 years of experience in intellectual property law, she brings deep expertise in trademark protection, portfolio strategy, prosecution, and enforcement for both local and international clients.

Abeer is a Certified IP Agent (EGIPA) and a qualified Appellate Lawyer, advising clients on complex filings, ownership assignments, administrative procedures, and contested matters. She has extensive experience representing rights holders before Egypt’s key judicial and regulatory bodies, including the Administrative Court, Economic Court, and Arbitration Boards.

Her work spans infringement actions, oppositions, cancellations, and commercial IP issues, with a strong focus on navigating the procedural intricacies of Egypt’s trademark system.
