Roman Yemanebirhan

Roman Yemenebirhan serves as the Country Manager and as a Lawyer at UTMPS’s Ethiopia office. Roman has over eight years of experience in the IP Industry specializing in Trademark, Patent, Copyrights, Industrial design, Trademark Infringement and Litigation.

Roman is certified to practice by the Ethiopian Lawyers Association representing a variety of clients from startups to multinational corporations. She advises clients on trademark registration, opposition, renewal, licensing, and enforcement.

In addition to Roman’s legal practice, she is actively involved in the industry engaging in IP awareness, policy reform, and professional training initiatives aimed at strengthening Ethiopia’s IP landscape.
