Syed Mubashir Ali

Mubashir Ali is General Manager of UTMPS’s UAE offices and has been with the firm since 1990. With more than 25 years of intellectual property experience across the Middle East, he supports clients on the protection, management, and enforcement of IP rights, including trademark, patent, design, and copyright matters, as well as oppositions and cancellations, anti-counterfeiting programs, and litigation coordination.

Based in the UAE—UTMPS’s regional hub – Mr. Ali also oversees the coordination and day-to-day management of MENA-wide portfolios, ensuring consistent execution across multiple jurisdictions.

He has led the firm’s UAE operations since 1994 and previously worked with the firm’s Saudi Arabia office in Riyadh.
